THE BOOK OF LIFE

A) MEANING OF:
The word of God mentions two separate and different books which were opened at the throne of God. One is simply refer to as the Book (Bible) out of which each one will be judged according to what is written in the book. John 12:48, Eccl 12:13-14. The other book is the Book of life which contains the names of all God's people. This book is also called the Lamb's book of life. Rev 13:8; 21:27
Therefore the Book of Life is the register book of God in Heaven that contains the names of all the saints (saved) both the dead and the living. Rev 20:12

B). ENROL INTO IT BY:
1. Contending the true gospel - Phil 4:3
2. Remained christian - Isa 4:3
3. Overcomers - Rev 3:4-5
4. Righteousness - Ps 69:28

C). ERASED FROM IT BY:
1. Sin - Exo 32:33
2. Wickedness (iniquities) - Ps 69:27-28
3. Worshiping the beast - Rev 13:8; 17:8
4. Altering the word of God - Rev 22:19

D). IF NAMES ARE NOT FOUND:
1. Thrown into the lake of fire - Rev 20:15
2. Regard as unclean - Ezra 2:62

E). IF NAMES ARE FOUND:
1. Shall be saved - Dan 12:1
2. Enters the holy city - Rev 21:26-27
3. Counts as joy - Luke 10:17-20

A backslider is one time faithful child of God who has stopped the fellowship with Christ by living in a sinful lifestyle. Hos 11:7, John 6:60-66 B ).  CAUSES OF BACKSLIDING : What results one into backsliding. 1. Absence of spiritual leaders - Exo 32 2. Evil associations - 1 Cor 15:33-34 3.
