15 PERSONAL TESTIMONIES ABOUT JESUS CHRIST

The exemplary life of Christ Jesus was very touchy and worthy of emulate. Christ bore the sins of the world on his shoulders to the cross but yet without sin. He was tempted but never sin. His daily character attracted some personalities to commend and testify about Him. Heb 4:14-15, 1 Pet 2:21-24

1. John the Baptist: - (a). "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world - John 1:29

(b). "And I have seen, and have borned witness that this is the Son of God" - John 1:34

2. Andrew: - ".....we have found the Messiah which means Christ"  - John 1:40-41

3. Nicodemus: - "....Rabbi, we know that you come from God as a teacher" - John 3:1-2

4. Peter: - 
(a). ".....You are the Son of living God" - Mat 16:13-16
(b). "Lord ... you have the words of eternal life" - John 6:68

5. The 12 Disciples: - "....by this we believe that You came from God" - John 16:29-30 

6. The People of Samaria: - "...It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this One is indeed the Savior of the world" - John 4:39-42

7. The Crowd: - "When therefore the people saw the sign which he did, they said, This is of a truth the prophet that cometh into the world" - John 6:14

8. Gerasene Demoniac: - "....you are the Son of Most High God" - Mk 5:1-7

9. Judas Iscariot: - "....I have betrayed an innocent blood" - Mat 27:3-4

10. Pontius Pilate: - "I found no guilt of Him" - John 19:4

11. Pilate's wife: - "have nothing to do with this righteous man" - Mat 27:19

12. The Criminal on the cross:  - "....this man has done nothing wrong" - Lk 23:39-41

13. The Roman Soldier: - "Truly this was the Son of God" - Mat 27:54

14. God: - "...This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased" - Mat 3:13-17

15. Jesus Christ Himself: - ".....I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us. Jesus said to her, I who speak to you am He" - John 4:25-26

Brethren, Who are you? So people can comment and testify good about you.

A backslider is one time faithful child of God who has stopped the fellowship with Christ by living in a sinful lifestyle. Hos 11:7, John 6:60-66 B ).  CAUSES OF BACKSLIDING : What results one into backsliding. 1. Absence of spiritual leaders - Exo 32 2. Evil associations - 1 Cor 15:33-34 3. Worldly success - 1 Tim 6:6-10 4. Shallowness in the word of God - Lk 8:13 5. Nothing to do - Elders should keep members busy - Lk 12:42-48 6. Love for the world - 2 Tim 4:10 7.
