OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO THE BIBLE

There are four passages in the New Testament where adjectives are used to describe “the Word of God” and where we are informed of our responsibility toward it as such.

1). It is called “engrafted” or “implanted Word,” ....... we are to “receive it” with "meekness” since it is “able to save [our] souls". Jam 1:21

2). It is called “the faithful Word” ..... and we are urged to “hold it fast". Tit 1:9

3). It is referred to as “the Word of life” ...... as such we are to “hold it forth". Phil 2:16
The Word of God alone has power to regenerate and give spiritual life. 1 Pet 1:23

4). It is described as “the Word of truth” ..... and we are told to “rightly divide it". 2 Tim 2:15
We can only be saved if we know the truth in the Bible and to be able to properly divide it. Col 1:25-29
